Helicopter Rides Are Back in 2010!

Last year the helicopter rides proved to be a very popular attraction at the NWA Premier Boat & Sport Expo so we’re bringing them back. Windwalker Air, in conjunction with Tulsa Helicopters, will be selling very inexpensive rides starting Friday at 3pm and all day Saturday and Sunday.  And a portion of each ticket will benefit Children’s House.  If you ever wanted to see the beautiful NWA region from the air this is your chance.

Windwalker Air

Windwalker Air was formed in 2007 by two commercial helicopter pilots in northeast Oklahoma whose goal was to share their enjoyment of vertical flight with others. Early in 2008 we associated ourselves with Tulsa Helicopters, a commercial helicopter service provider with over fifteen years of experience who shared our goals. Since then, Windwalker Air and Tulsa Helicopters have introduced thousands of patrons to the joy of flight in a helicopter at outdoor events throughout N.E Okla. and are excited to become a part of the NWA Boat & Sport Expo.

The majority of our passengers are going up in a helicopter for the very first time, an occasion that we are both honored and excited to be a part of. A helicopter, by its design, provides a much more visual experience than a comparable fixed wing aircraft – everyone aboard will experience a thrill of a lifetime.  Your pilot for this ride will be Joe Lester, a commercial pilot for over fifteen years, doing all types of work from passenger tours to aerial photography and aerial news reporting.

Rides are only $35 per person with a portion of your ticket benefiting Children’s House.
